I am reading the hardware requirement for Geth here and I noticed this portion:
At the time of writing (September 2022) a 2TB SSD is recommended for a full node running Geth and a consensus client. Geth itself requires >650GB of disk space for a snap-synced full node and, with the default cache size, grows about 14GB/week. Pruning brings the total storage back down to the original 650GB
Data growing 14GB/week sounds very expensive and hence the ability to prune which brings data back to 650GB looks like a very handy feature…
But question is, what capability do you lose when you prune? Are there some data you now won’t be able to access?
